Looks a little bit outdated though.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Guitar parts<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My favorite parts webshop in Holland: <a title=\"Guitarsupplies.nl\" href=\"http:\/\/www.guitarsupplies.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\">guitarsupplies.nl<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Rockinger.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rockinger.com\" target=\"_blank\">Rockinger<\/a> in Germany also has a good collection (and they are very friendly). They sell the cheapest Schaller Floyd Roses.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gitarre-bestellen.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gitarre-bestellen.de<\/a> for your cheap kits.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"GuitarFetish\" href=\"http:\/\/www.guitarfetish.com\" target=\"_blank\">Guitarfetish.com<\/a> for cheap but good pick-ups. Their hardware is OK. It&#8217;s an American company so when ordering in Europe add shipping and custom&#8217;s taxes.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Stewart-MacDonald\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stewmac.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stewart-MacDonald<\/a> is probably the best webshop regarding guitar parts and luthier tools. Sadly you pay a lot for shipping and custom&#8217;s taxes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Luthiers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.degierguitars.com\" target=\"_blank\">Sander de Gier<\/a>, the number one!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Music (theory)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Justin Sandercoe\" href=\"www.justinguitar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Justin Sandercoe<\/a>. His site is a must for the beginner (and also intermediate and expert) guitarist<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ralphpatt.com\/Backing.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ralph Patt<\/a> Jazz backing tracks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Some of the Tools I use:<\/p>\n<p>For <strong>making music<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guitar Pro: excellent tool that creates good looking scores\/tabs and mid. I use the older 5.0 version. Might soon upgrade to a newer version: www.guitar-pro.com<\/li>\n<li>Band-in-a-box: haven&#8217;t used it a lot yet but will.<\/li>\n<li>Garage Band: I use it on my Mac Mini, iPhone and iPad. Great tool for just playing around or get the feeling of chord changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For <strong>analysing music<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Magic Slow Downer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For <strong>playing guitar<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amplitube on my iPhone and iPad<\/li>\n<li>Line6<\/li>\n<li>Guitar Rig 2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For <strong>graphics<\/strong> I use the following (free-ware) applications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Paint.net\" href=\"www.getpaint.net\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Paint.NET<\/a> for all basic graphics stuff<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"yEd\" href=\"http:\/\/www.yWorks.com\" target=\"_blank\">yEd Graph Editor<\/a> for pictures of scales and chords<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.inkscape.org\" target=\"_blank\">Inkscape<\/a> for all vector based graphics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guitar Building\u00a0 &amp; Maintenance Project guitar: probably the best and most extensive site on guitar building, finishing and maintenance.
